Degree Of Adjective:

Degree of adjective को degree of comparision भी कहा जाता है | इसका प्रयोग nouns या pronouns की तुलना करने के लिए किया जाता है | जैसे इन वाक्यों की बनावट को देखिए : 

उदाहरण 1. राम लम्बा है | 

उदाहरण 2. राम श्याम से लंबा है |

उदाहरण 3. राम सबसे लंबा है | 

उदाहरण 1 में राम की तुलना किसी से नहीं की गई है जबकि उदाहरण 2 में राम की लंबाई की तुलना श्याम की लंबाई से की गई है | इसी प्रकार उदाहरण 3 में राम की लंबाई की तुलना सबसे की गई है | 

उदाहरण 4. सीता छोटी है | 

उदाहरण 5. सीता गीता से छोटी है |

उदाहरण 6. सीता अपने सभी बहनों से छोटी है |

उदहारण 4 में सीता की तुलना किसी से नहीं है, जबकि उदहारण 5 में सीता की तुलना गीता से है और उदाहरण 6 में सीता की तुलना सभी बहनों से की गई है | 

अत: हम देखते है कि Adjective का तुलनात्मक अध्ययन तीन प्रकार से किया जाता है | 

1. जब किसी से तुलना न की गई है उसे Positive degree of Adjective कहते है |

2. जब तुलना किसी दो के बीच की गई हो तो उसे Comparative degree of Adjective कहते है |

3. जब तुलना अन्य सभी से हो तो उसे Superlative degree of Adjective कहते हैं |

समान्यत: Adjective से comparative degree बनाने के लिए (+ er) जोड़ते है और superlative degree बनाने के लिए (+est) जोड़ते है |

3. वह कमजोर है |

यह तीन प्रकार का होता है :

(1) Positive degree

(2) Comparative degree 

(3) Superlative degree 

1. Positive degree

जब किसी adjective का प्रयोग में किसी से तुलना न हो एवं वह केवल nouns या pronouns की समान्य गुण, आकार, रंग एवं अवस्था का ही बोध कराता हो तो वहाँ positive degree होता है | 

जैसे - 

He is tall.

Ramu is an intelligent boy. 

She is as good as her sister. 

The kite was blue. 

My cap is nice. 

2. Comparative degree 

जब किसी adjective का प्रयोग दो nouns या pronouns की आपस में तुलना करने के लिए की जाती है तो ऐसे adjective का प्रयोग comparative degree में होता है | 

जैसे - 

Raju is more intelligent than I. 

He is better speaker than she. 

Geeta is more beautiful than Sita. 

3. Superlative degree 

जब किसी adjective का दो या दो से अधिक nouns या pronouns की तुलना किसी अन्य व्यक्ति, वस्तु अथवा स्थान से करना हो तो वहाँ superlative degree का प्रयोग होता है | 

जैसे - 

He is the most beautiful girl of my school. 

I am the best at mathematics in my class. 

She is the cleverest girl in the village.

Generally all Adjectives are in positive degree. 

Positive degree के सभी Adjectives अपने सामान्य रूप (simple form) में ही होते है और इनका उपयोग (use) तब होता है जब किसी से तुलना (comparision) नहीं करना हो | 

जैसे- 

1. Mohan is fat. 

   मोहन मोटा है |

2. You are a good writer. 

    तुम एक अच्छे लेखक हो |

3. I am very tall. 

    मैं बहुत लम्बा हूँ |

4. He looks tired. 

    वह थका लगता है |

5. The lady is thin. 

    औरत पतली है |

6. The Tree is green. 

    पेड़ हरा है |

Comparative Degree | Degree of Adjectives | Degree of Comparision

Comparative Degree: Comparative degree, positive degree की तुलना में अधिक गुण का बोध कराता है | इसका प्रयोग (use) दो वस्तुओं या दो व्यक्तियों के गुणों की तुलना करने के लिए किया जाता है | 

"Comparative degree is used to compare the features of two objects or two persons."

Comparative degree बनाने के लिए सामान्यत: positive degree के Adjective में  (+ er) जोड़ा जाता है |

   राधा सीता से अधिक सुन्दर है |

2. Mohit is better singer than Amit.

   मोहित अमित से बढ़िया/बेहतर गायक है |

3. She is junior to me.

   वह मुझसे जूनियर है।

4. He is richer than them.

    वह उनसे अधिक अमीर है |

5. You are stronger than me.

    तुम मुझसे अधिक मजबूत हो |

Superlative Degree | Degree of Adjectives | Degree of Comparative

Superlaive Degree: यह सबसे highest degree है | यह degree highest quality (गुणों) का बोध कराता है | इसका प्रयोग (use) दो से अधिक वस्तुओं (articles) या व्यक्तियों (persons) की तुलना के लिए किया जाता है | 

जैसे- 

1. He is the most handsome of all.

    वह सबसे सुंदर है।

2. Raju is the poorest boy in his friends. 

    राजू अपने दोस्तों में सबसे गरीब लड़का है।

3. Komal is the most beautiful in her class. 

    कोमल अपनी कक्षा में सबसे सुंदर है।

4. Radha Mohan is the oldest man in this village.

    राधा मोहन इस गाँव के सबसे बुजुर्ग आदमी है |
