Present Indefinite Tense
Affirmative Sentences
1. Present Indefinite Tense
पहचान : इस tense के वाक्यों की क्रिया (verb) के अंत में 'ता है', 'ते हैं', या 'ती है',
आदि लगा रहता है | इसके अंग्रेजी के वाक्यों में मुख्य क्रिया (main verb)
में verb का first form दिया रहता है |
जैसे : मैं व्यायाम करता हूँ | I take exercise.
वे लोग बाजार जाते है | They go to market.
वह पुस्तक पढ़ती है | she reads book.
Structure Of Sentnces(वाक्यों की बनावट):
1. Affirmative Sentence:
(i) For Plural Subjects: (I, We, You, They, Plural Nouns)
Subject + V1 + object.
Eg: मैं दिल्ली में रहता हूँ |
I live in Delhi.
हमलोग तेज दौड़ते हैं |
We run fast.
बच्चें खेलते हैं |
Children play.
लड़कियाँ बात करती हैं |
Girls talk.
(ii) For Singular Subjects (He, She, It, Name, Singular Nouns):
Subject + V1+ s/es + object.
Eg: वह फुटबॉल खेलता है |
He plays football.
रमण सिनेमा देखता है |
Raman Sees movie.
वह लड़का झूठ बोलता है |
That boy tells a lie.
गाय घास खाती है |
The cow eats grass.
2. Negative Sentence:
(i) Singular subject: (He, She, It, Name, Singular Nouns) के साथ does not
का प्रयोग करते है |
(ii) Plural Subjects: (I, We, You, They, Plural Nouns) के साथ donot का प्रयोग
करते है |
Structure:
Subject + do/does + not + V1 + object.
Eg:
तुम बाजार नहीं जाते हो |
You do not go to market.
वह दूध नहीं पीता है |
He does not drink milk.
खिलाडी आराम नहीं करते हैं |
Players do not take rest.
3. Interrogative Sentnce:
(i) Helping Verbs
Do/Does + subject + V1 + object ?
Eg:
क्या तुम मुझे जानते हो ?
Do you know me ?
क्या सीता चाय पीती है ?
Does Sita take tea ?
क्या वह पाठ याद करता है ?
Does he learn a lesson ?
(ii) W H Family
WH + do/does + Subject + V1 + object ?
वह कब घर जाता है ?
When does he go to house ?
मैं कहाँ रहता हूँ ?
Where do I live ?
तुम कैसे उसे जानते हो ?
How do you know him ?
Translate into English:
1. वह मेरे कार्यों में मेरी मदद करता है |
2. मेरा भाई मुझसे झगडा नहीं करता है |
3. सोनू कार नहीं चलाता है |
4. लड़कियाँ बाग से फूल तोड़ती है |
5. हमलोग समय की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं |
6. क्या आप दिल्ली में रहते हैं ?
7. क्या मोहन अपना समय बर्वाद करता है ?
8. आप यहाँ क्या करते हैं ?
9. वह तुम्हे कैसे डांटता है ?
10. वे लोग कब विद्यालय जाते हैं ?
11. क्या तुम मुझसे आशा करते हो ?
12. मेरा भाई आराम नहीं करता है ?
13. मैं अपना काम स्वयं करता हूँ |
14. वह रोगियों की देखभाल करता है |
15. कपिल समय से अपना काम समाप्त करता है |
Negative Sentences
Negative Sentenses: Present Indefinite Tense
Structute:
Subject + do/does + not + V1 + object.
Do और Does का प्रयोग :
I, We, You, They और Plurals के साथ Do का प्रयोग करते हैं |
जैसे -
I do not take rest.
We do not wash hand.
You do not love country.
They do not send letters.
Boys do not collect flowers.
जबकि He, She, It, Name और Singular Nouns के साथ Does का प्रयोग होता है |
जैसे - He does not want ro read.
She does not play cricket.
Ramu does not solve his sum.
It does not work.
Negative Sentenses Examples:
1. वह घर पर काम नहीं करता है |
2. तुम मेरा इंतजार नहीं करते हो |
3. राधा झूठ नहीं बोलती है |
4. समय किसी कि प्रतीक्षा नहीं करता है |
5. अमर अपने दोस्तों कि मदद नहीं करता है |
6. मैं अपनी पाठ याद नहीं करता हूँ |
7. वे लोग यहाँ नहीं ठहरते हैं |
8. हमलोग रात्रि में नहीं घुमते है |
9. तुम अच्छे बर्ताव नहीं करते हो |
10. मैं घर पर नहीं रहता हूँ |
