         value of x.

Q5.  In fig D is mid-points of AB. P is on AC such that PC = ½ AP

         and DE||BP.  

       

       आकृति में, D भुजा AB का मध्य-बिंदु है |

       P भुजा AC पर इस प्रकार है की PC = ½ AP        

       तथा DE||BP है | दर्शाइए कि AE = 1/3 AC. 

                       

                                             

Q6.  The angles of quadrilateral are in the ratio 3 : 5 : 9 : 13. Find all the

        angles of the quadrilateral.

        एक चतुर्भुज के कोण 3 : 5 : 9 : 13 के अनुपात में है | तो चतुर्भुज के सभी कोण

        ज्ञात कीजिए |

Q7.  Show that if the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other at right

         angles, then it is a rhombus.

        दर्शाइए कि यदि एक चतुर्भुज के विकर्ण एक दुसरे को समकोण पर समद्विभाजित 

        करते है तो यह समचतुर्भुज है |

 

Q8.   Prove that the line segment joining the mid-points of two sides of a                      triangle is parallel and half to the third side.

         सिद्ध कीजिए कि किसी त्रिभुज की किन्ही दो भुजाओं के मध्य-बिन्दुओं को मिलाने

         वाला रेखाखण्ड तीसरी भुजा के समान्तर और आधी होती है | 

Q9.  ABCD is a rhombus and P, Q, R and S are the mid-points of the

          sides AB, BC, CD and DA respectively. Show that the quadrilateral

          PQRS is a rectangle.

          ABCD एक समचतुर्भुज है और P, Q, R और S भुजाएँ AB, BC, CD और DA

          के क्रमश: मध्य बिंदु हैं | दर्शाइए कि चतुर्भुज PQRS एक आयत है |
